Mangetus awarded the best of Japanese Cuisine in 2006 & 2008. We have colorful and exotic fusion presentations wrapped in a French style, like the show "Iron Chef", have made this restaurant popular. Service is very friendly and well organized.

Mangetsu means full moon in Japanese. Jack is owner and chef, calls Mangetsu his dream. "I always wanted my own restaurant. Everybody's dream is to have their own, and this is my first."

In addition to the ten seats sushi bar, the 2,500 square-foot space seats 52 and will have, Jack promises, a fish tank with Koi fish which he also promises will not be on the menu, adding that in Japan, koi means long life.

Pointing to the wood plaques on the wall behind the bar, Jack says the Japanese characters tell what fish are on the day’s menu. He also designed and hand-built the oak sushi bar himself.

Over 29 various sakes shipped from Japan, especially Sake Bomb--the most famous beverage. For sake and Japanese vodka lover, customer can purchase a bottle of sake and wooden sake cup for future use. Jack built a rack to decorate all these sakes and cups; He even hand-built sake bar for customer who just want to taste our home make Sho Shu.
